Hi there! I’m Yurii Liakhov, a Software Engineer from Ukraine. I build web applications across the full stack and write about the things I learn along the way.

A few words

I’ve been building web apps for over 8 years — from crafting responsive interfaces with Angular and SvelteKit to designing backend APIs with Node.js and Prisma. Clean code, solid architecture, and great developer experience — that’s what drives me.

My day-to-day is all about TypeScript — on the frontend and the backend. I enjoy the kind of work where you take a messy problem and turn it into something that just works.

• Backend: Node.js, Prisma
• Tools: Git, CI/CD, REST APIs

Current obsession

Lately I’ve been diving into AI tooling — AI agents, Claude Code, the Claude API and Agent SDK. I’m convinced AI-assisted development is reshaping how we write code, and I’m actively bringing it into my workflow and side projects to see what’s possible.
